Saritha Komatireddy receives New York Post endorsement

Republican candidate Saritha Komatireddy has received the endorsement of the New York Post editorial board in her challenge against New York Attorney General Letitia James. The endorsement comes as early voting begins in the state.

Komatireddy, a former federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of New York, has campaigned on a platform of increasing public safety and cracking down on crime, fraud, and corruption. She criticized James, citing a perceived lack of focus on criminal matters. Komatireddy noted that her own family has been personally affected by crime in New York City.

While an internal poll by OnMessage Inc. previously showed James leading 50.7 percent to 44.7 percent, Komatireddy continues her campaign with a focus on issues such as homelessness and street safety.
