Sarkodie arrives in Kumasi for Rapperholic 2026 concert

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie arrived in Kumasi on Monday, August 19, 2026, to massive crowds ahead of his Rapperholic Homecoming Concert. The rapper's convoy caused significant traffic delays in the Ashanti regional capital as fans gathered along the streets to welcome him.

During his media tour, Sarkodie addressed social media criticism regarding his decision not to spray cash during his appearance in Adum. He explained that he refrained from the gesture because the law prohibits treating currency in such a manner.

The Rapperholic Homecoming Concert is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. This marks the second edition of the event at this venue, following a successful performance in September 2025.
