Sarkodie defends controversial video amid mockery claims

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has defended his decision to share a video of a one-legged man on his Instagram Story, despite accusations that the post was a veiled mockery of dancehall artist Stonebwoy.

During an interview with broadcaster Serwaa Amihere, Sarkodie denied any malicious intent, stating that he would not deliberately target a person's disability. He drew a distinction between lyrical rap battles and personal attacks on physical conditions, noting that disability is a serious matter that should not be joked about.

Despite the backlash and the perceived connection to Stonebwoy's recent performance at Wembley, Sarkodie maintained that he has no regrets and would post the clip again, arguing that he should not be held responsible for how others interpret content that was not intended to be offensive.
