Sarmiento draws 0-0 with Platense in pre‑season friendly ahead of Boca clash

Sarmiento completed its pre‑season schedule with two 30‑minute friendly matches against Platense, both ending in goalless draws. The first game was played at the "Calamar" stadium, and a second encounter was held at the Estadio Ciudad de Vicente López.

Coach Facundo Sava praised the team's organization and ball retention, noting the introduction of new signing Elián Giménez and the solid performance of goalkeeper Thyago Ayala. The squad also suffered a setback when midfielder Nicolás Pasquini left with an ankle injury that will be assessed in the coming hours.
