Sarmiento Line: Station renovations progress in Morón and Ramos Mejía

Renovation works are progressing at the Morón and Ramos Mejía stations on the Sarmiento Line in Argentina. These projects are part of the Railway Emergency Action Plan managed by Trenes Argentinos.

At Morón Station, which serves over 35,000 passengers daily, works include the construction of new platforms, improved accessibility with ramps for reduced mobility, and the renovation of access halls, sidewalks, and ticket offices. The project also involves upgrading lighting to LED, installing new signage, and improving electrical and sanitary facilities. To maintain service, a temporary platform was implemented in January to allow reconstruction of the north platform.

At Ramos Mejía Station, work is nearing completion on a new central platform designed to provide more circulation alternatives for trains. Interventions at this location also include work on the historic railway building and the completion of previously unfinished infrastructure.
