Sarnia and Windsor firearm incidents result in arrests and weapon seizures

In Sarnia, Ontario, police responded to a vehicle riddled with shotgun holes on Overlea Crescent on July 23. Investigation led to a search warrant at a nearby home where six firearms, including a Winchester Model 37A .410 shotgun and ammunition, were seized. A 47‑year‑old man was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm, possession offences and mischief; no injuries were reported.

In South Windsor, Ontario, a 16‑year‑old was charged after a targeted shooting on July 23 that damaged a home’s window and basement wall. Shots were fired from a stolen black Cadillac SUV later recovered with ammunition and crystal meth. The teen was arrested on July 25 and faces multiple firearms and drug‑related charges; no one was injured.
