Sarrabus region sees school leadership and medical staffing changes

The Sarrabus region is undergoing administrative and service changes in the education and healthcare sectors. In education, new leadership has been appointed for two major institutions. Angela Fiorenza will lead the Istituto comprensivo Villaputzu-Muravera-San Vito, succeeding Carla Atzenila. Additionally, Emanuela Valurta will take over the leadership of the L. Einaudi-G. Bruno higher education institute in Muravera, replacing Mario Sechi.

In the healthcare sector, Dr. Andreina Mureddu has been appointed as a general practitioner for Muravera, San Vito, and Villaputzu following the retirement of two doctors. However, her appointment is expected to last only approximately one year. This transition occurs amidst broader staffing challenges, as two other active physicians in the area are also nearing retirement. Meanwhile, in Villasimius, Dr. Ramona Zucca has been appointed to replace Dr. Mureddu, though she is currently based in Castiadas, creating logistical considerations for local patients.
