Sarreguemines launches household waste bin identification campaign
The Communauté d’Agglomération is launching a campaign to identify household waste bins in Sarreguemines, starting October 5. The initiative aims to better understand collection service usage, support residents in reducing waste, and improve sorting practices.
The campaign is not intended to implement incentive-based fees but rather to link each bin to its owner using only addresses or apartment numbers. Residents must collect an identification sticker from the Hôtel de la Communauté at 99 rue Maréchal Foch.
For the left bank, the campaign runs from October 5 to 16, 2026, and for the right bank, from October 19 to 30, 2026, between 10:00 and 17:00. To receive a sticker, residents must provide a SYDEME PASS and proof of residence. Failure to apply the sticker to the bin after the campaign will result in the suspension of waste collection for that bin.
