Sarrey/Montigny faces Marnaval in Coupe de France fourth round

Sarrey/Montigny is set to face Marnaval in the fourth round of the Coupe de France on Sunday, September 27. Despite playing in Régional 3, Sarrey/Montigny enters the match following an upset victory against Saint-Méziéry, a Régional 1 side.

Damien Couturier, the coach of Sarrey/Montigny, noted that while Marnaval are the favorites, his team plans to utilize a low block and counter-attacking strategy. He also highlighted that the poor condition of the home pitch at Stade du Chesnoy may provide a tactical advantage. The Marnaval coach acknowledged the difficult playing surface but stated his team would not use it as an excuse.
