Sarwendah denies embezzlement allegations regarding Ruben Onsu's villa certificate

Legal counsel for Sarwendah has denied allegations of embezzlement regarding a villa certificate in Bogor belonging to Ruben Onsu. The dispute arose after Onsu's side claimed Sarwendah was unilaterally withholding land documents.

Sarwendah's lawyer, Jaenudin, S.H., stated that the retention of the certificate is based on specific clauses within 'Akta 39'. According to the legal team, the agreement requires the first party to settle outstanding bank obligations, specifically involving BCA, before the transfer of ownership or the handover of documents can occur.

The defense maintains that the handover and title transfer process will only proceed once the credit issues are cleared. The legal team argued that the embezzlement accusations are premature and lack a legal basis given the existing contractual terms.
