Various mining entities marked the occasion with investments and recognition. Sasa Mine celebrated by awarding 121 employees for their contributions to safe and stable production and announced modernization efforts, including new underground trucks and improved ventilation systems. In Kriva Palanka, the municipality celebrated the 10th anniversary of Bulmak 2016 and the Toranica mine.
At REK Bitola and REK Osloemej, officials emphasized the need for high-tech investments to ensure energy independence. Discussions centered on transitioning toward automated, safer, and more environmentally friendly mining practices to address the global demand for critical minerals while maintaining social security and improved wages for workers.
