Sascha Britschgi makes senior debut for Switzerland

Sascha Britschgi, a winger for Parma, made his debut for the Switzerland senior national team during a match against North Macedonia. Britschgi entered the game in the 62nd or 63rd minute, replacing Ricardo Rodriguez.

Switzerland secured a victory in the match, with reports noting scores of 3-1 or 3-0 depending on the source. The win featured goals from players including Freuler and Amdoni. Britschgi's rise through the Swiss national ranks has been rapid, moving from the Under-20 and Under-21 levels to the senior squad within a single year.

While Britschgi saw action, fellow Parma player Vincent Sierro remained on the bench for the duration of the match. The Swiss team is scheduled to face Scotland in their next fixture.
