Sascha Horvath named Player of the Season at Bruno Gala

At the 30th Bruno Gala in Vienna, LASK dominated the awards, securing multiple honors following a successful season. LASK captain Sascha Horvath was voted Player of the Season by professional players. The club was also named Team of the Season, while Dietmar Kühbauer received the Coach of the Season award and Lukas Jungwirth was named Goalkeeper of the Season.

In individual categories, Konrad Laimer of Bayern Munich was named Male Legionnaire of the Season, and Chiara D’Angelo of Werder Bremen was named Female Legionnaire of the Season. Sarah Mattner-Trembleau of SKN St. Pölten earned the Female Player of the Season title, while FK Austria Wien was recognized as the Women’s Team of the Season.

Other honors included Marc Stendera of SKN St. Pölten winning the 2. Liga Player of the Season and an honorary award for the Austrian U17 men’s national team. The awards, named after the late Bruno Pezzey, are organized by the Vereinigung der Fußballer (VdF) in cooperation with spusu.
