Sascha Lange announces Depeche Mode book reading tour

Historian and author Sascha Lange is embarking on a reading tour focused on the history of the band Depeche Mode. The tour features his trilogy of books, including ‘Depeche Mode Monument’, ‘Behind The Wall – Depeche Mode Fankultur in der DDR’, and the 2023 release ‘Depeche Mode Live’, co-authored with Dennis Burmeister.

The 70-minute presentations include images and video clips, covering the band's evolution from small venues in 1982 to large-scale performances. Topics include the band's history behind the Iron Curtain, such as concerts in Warsaw, Budapest, and East Berlin in 1988.

The tour includes various dates across Germany and Switzerland, with locations such as Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, and Oberentfelden scheduled between September 2026 and April 2027.
