Saskatchewan Roughriders aim for playoff spot in final two games

Saskatchewan Roughriders CFL Montreal Alouettes Grey Cup playoffs

The Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-8) are attempting to secure a post-season berth by winning their final two regular season games. Currently on a four-game losing streak, the defending Grey Cup champions face the Montreal Alouettes (13-3) this Saturday.

Head coach Corey Mace stated the team is focused on a simple approach to navigate the complicated playoff picture. The Roughriders' offense expects a boost as receivers KeeSean Johnson, Samuel Emilus, and Kian Schaffer-Baker are set to start together for the first time since July due to returning from injuries. Quarterback Trevor Harris noted that having these players healthy provides significant tactical advantages for the team.
