Saskatchewan Roughriders can clinch CFL playoff berth in Week 17

The Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-5) have the opportunity to clinch a Canadian Football League (CFL) playoff berth during Week 17. To secure their postseason spot, the Roughriders must defeat the B.C. Lions (7-6) in Vancouver this Friday.

Even with a victory, the clinch depends on other results: the Toronto Argonauts must defeat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and the Ottawa Redblacks must defeat the Calgary Stampeders. The playoff landscape is also being influenced by potential crossover scenarios involving the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Roughriders head coach Corey Mace emphasized the importance of staying focused on the immediate task, stating that the team must control what they can rather than looking too far ahead at various postseason scenarios.
