Saskatoon police charge three youths for stealing teen's scooter

Three suspects – an 18‑year‑old man, a 17‑year‑old girl and a 15‑year‑old girl – were arrested and charged with robbery after allegedly taking a scooter from a 13‑year‑old child in the Lawson Heights neighbourhood of Saskatoon. The scooter was returned to the victim; the male suspect also faces a charge for breaching court‑imposed conditions.

Separately, a 26‑year‑old man was charged with dangerous driving after evading police and exiting his vehicle while it was still moving; he was treated at the scene for injuries consistent with a dog bite. Over the same weekend, police responded to three distinct stabbing incidents, including a 36‑year‑old woman who received non‑life‑threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

All arrests were made without further incident, and the police continue to investigate the stabbings.
