Saskatoon schedules multiple road closures for weekend repairs

The City of Saskatoon announced that several major roadways will be closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday for maintenance and construction. Acadia Drive will be shut from Highbury Court to Highland Crescent on Saturday (7 a.m.–3 p.m.) for road patching. On Idylwyld Drive South, northbound lanes will close Saturday (7 a.m.–9 p.m.) for similar work, while the northbound off‑ramp of Circle Drive West will be briefly closed Sunday (7:30 a.m.–9 a.m.) for streetlight maintenance. Sunday will also see 20th Street West closed between Ottawa and Montreal avenues for water‑main repairs (8 a.m.–5 p.m.). Starting Monday through Friday, Second Avenue South will be closed between Saunders Place and 19th Street East for a crane lift (6 a.m.–5 p.m.). Additional overnight resurfacing on Attridge Drive will run from Sunday through Thursday, with closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night and limited access to the Forestry Farm Park & Zoo.

The city warned that Saskatoon Transit routes may be affected and advised riders to consult transit apps for updates. Detour signs will be posted at each site, and closure times are subject to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
