Sassari authorities seize over 5,000 counterfeit luxury items

The Guardia di Finanza of Sassari conducted a major seizure of counterfeit goods in Alghero. During intensified inspections in the historic center and seafront, officers intercepted a vendor selling fake products.

Following further investigation, authorities discovered a warehouse near the suspect's residence in Sassari used to store the illicit merchandise. More than 5,000 items were seized, including bags, sunglasses, and belts featuring counterfeit logos from international brands such as Dior, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Armani, Fendi, and Prada.

The individual has been referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Sassari for charges including receiving stolen goods and the illegal introduction and trade of counterfeit products.
