Sassuolo administration resolves bicycle lane safety issues

The M5S group in Sassuolo has announced that recent interventions have addressed safety concerns regarding local bicycle lanes. Following an inquiry presented to the municipal administration, issues involving obstructions and illegal parking have been resolved.

Specific problems included yellow concrete bollards in front of Pascoli schools that excessively narrowed the lanes, and vehicles occupying the bike path near San Francesco during a religious event. The group stated that these issues previously forced cyclists into traffic, but the administration has since taken action to ensure the lanes are usable and safe for all.
