The Municipality of Sassuolo has officially consolidated its school bus assistance and supervision service for the current academic year. Following a successful pilot phase conducted during the latter part of the previous school year, Mayor Matteo Mesini announced that the measure will now serve as a permanent structural support for local families and school staff.

The initiative involves the presence of an operator, assigned by the service provider and fully funded by the municipality, who travels on various school bus routes on a rotating basis. The primary responsibilities of these operators include ensuring the correct use of seat belts, monitoring student behavior during transit, and assisting students while they board or exit the vehicles.

By implementing a periodic rotation across the city's transport network, the administration aims to provide systematic and widespread coverage. Beyond physical safety and regulatory compliance, the program is designed with an educational focus to support student growth and social development.
