Sassuolo Mayor Announces Opening of New CasaPAS Public Assistance Center

Mayor Matteo Mesini and Deputy Mayor Serena Lenzotti toured the former Vittorino da Feltre building in Sassuolo, declaring that the new CasaPAS headquarters for the city’s public assistance service is ready for operation. The move ends a prolonged refurbishment effort, with volunteers having helped adapt the premises to the association’s logistical and health requirements.

Although final renovation work continues and some interior spaces are still being fitted out, the Croce Blu emergency‑response team is already operating at full capacity from the site. Municipal officials thanked local businesses, donors and volunteers for their support in completing the project, describing the new facility as a lasting community asset.
