Flavio Russo, a 2004‑born centre‑forward owned by Serie A club Sassuolo, has attracted interest from two recently relegated Serie C sides, Pescara and Spezia. The 188 cm striker spent the 2023‑24 season in Sassuolo’s Primavera, finishing as top scorer with 20 goals, and made a brief Serie B debut, scoring two goals in 12 appearances. He previously served loan spells at Virtus Entella and Pescara, where he logged 14 and 11 matches respectively.
Both clubs are looking to secure Russo on loan to bolster their attacking options. Sassuolo is reportedly willing to let him go on a temporary deal, with a valuation around €700,000, while the final decision will depend on the technical project and guaranteed playing time each club can offer. Spezia’s coach Marco Turati and Pescara’s management are in active negotiations as the summer transfer window progresses.
