Sat. 1 announces 2026 season of ‘Das große Backen’

The 14th season of the German baking competition ‘Das große Backen’ is scheduled to premiere on July 29, 2026, at 8:15 PM on Sat. 1. The series will also be available on the streaming platform Joyn.

Twelve amateur bakers will compete for the title of ‘Germany’s Best Amateur Baker 2026.’ The contestant lineup includes a baking influencer, a former professional handball player, and an emergency paramedic. While only the start date is officially confirmed, the season is expected to consist of eight episodes, concluding with a finale on September 16, 2026.
