Karlsruhe police seek witnesses in suspected bridge push case

Authorities in Karlsruhe are seeking witnesses regarding a fall from a bridge that occurred in February 2025. Investigators are now treating the incident as suspected attempted manslaughter combined with dangerous bodily harm, following new information suggesting a 15-year-old boy may have been pushed from the bridge by at least one person.

The victim, who fell approximately eight meters, spent a significant period in a coma but has since shown signs of improvement. To assist in the investigation, the case will be presented on the television program ‘Aktenzeichen XY… Ungelöst’ on ZDF. The public prosecutor's office has offered a reward of up to 5,000 euros for information leading to the identification or apprehension of the suspects.
