German reality TV shows announce new seasons and viewership updates

Several German reality television productions are launching new seasons or reporting viewership trends.

“Are You The One? Realitystars in Love” begins its sixth season on August 12, 2026. Filmed in Thailand, the show features 22 episodes available exclusively on RTL+ with a potential prize pool of 200,000 euros.

“Sommerhaus der Stars” enters its 11th season, with streaming on RTL+ starting August 25 and linear TV broadcasts on RTL beginning September 8, 2026. The competition involves eight celebrity couples vying for 50,000 euros.

On SAT. 1, the second season of “Villa der Versuchung” has seen a strong start, achieving a 9.1 percent market share in its target demographic. The show features a 250,000 euro jackpot that participants can deplete by paying for luxuries. Recent developments include a potential 50,000 euro jackpot increase contingent on the arrival of new contestant Dolly Buster.
