SAT-BOX to release insect adventure game on Switch and Steam

SAT-BOX has announced the release of ‘Honobono Konchu Monogatari’, an insect-collecting adventure game, scheduled for August 20, 2026. The title will be available on Nintendo Switch and Steam.

Set in a rural village, the game tasks players with exploring forests, rivers, and bamboo groves to collect over 70 species of insects, including beetles and stag beetles. Players can register findings in an insect encyclopedia, seek out rare or large specimens, and use new tools to improve their collection efforts.

In addition to collection, the game features insect battles where players aim to push opponents out of a field, and a customization system for building secret bases using collected furniture. The game also includes a ‘Score Attack’ mode with online rankings to compete with players worldwide.
