SAT expands services with mobile offices and tax fine discounts

The Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT) is expanding its reach through two primary initiatives: the deployment of mobile offices and a fiscal regularization program.

Under the leadership of Antonio Martínez Dagnino, the SAT is deploying its 'Oficina Móvil' program across 44 municipalities in 27 states. During the week of August 24 to 28, these itinerant units aim to serve approximately 7,700 people and process 15,700 procedures. Services available without a prior appointment include RFC registration, e.firma generation and renewal, and the issuance of Tax Situation Certificates (CSF).

Simultaneously, the SAT is promoting its 2026 Fiscal Regularization Program. According to Omar Flores, an administrator for Chihuahua II, the program offers taxpayers and companies up to 100 percent discounts on fines, surcharges, and execution expenses. The program is designed for taxpayers whose total income during the 2024 fiscal year did not exceed 300 million pesos. As of August 13, 40,424 taxpayers had already benefited from the initiative, which is scheduled to run until October 31, 2026.
