SAT recovers 6.4 billion pesos through fiscal regularization

Mexico’s Tax Administration Service (SAT) has recovered 6,436 million pesos through its 2026 Fiscal Regularization Program. The initiative has assisted 38,399 taxpayers, including 11,404 companies and 26,995 individuals.

Through the program, the authority has granted 6,134 million pesos in incentives by reducing fines, surcharges, and execution costs. Of the total recovered funds, 4,076 million pesos correspond to income tax (ISR) and 2,111 million pesos to value-added tax (IVA).

Taxpayers with outstanding debts have until October 31 to join the program and access these benefits. Officials have urged citizens to visit SAT offices for guidance on regularizing their tax status.
