Sat-Trakt secures 410 million‑dinar mini‑bond financing from Banca Intesa

Banca Intesa, a member of the Intesa Sanpaolo group, acted as arranger and sponsor for the seventh unsecured mini‑bond issuance on the Serbian market, raising 410 million dinars for telecom equipment distributor Sat‑Trakt. The bonds carry a seven‑year maturity with a 24‑month grace period, and Banca Intesa will purchase the entire issue at maturity.

Sat‑Trakt, based in Bačka Topola, uses the proceeds to fund two acquisitions aimed at diversifying its operations and launching new business segments. The company is a leading regional distributor of cable‑distribution system (KDS) equipment and a system integrator, also providing wholesale telecom services, cable TV, and internet provision in Vojvodina. Darko Popović, chairman of Banca Intesa’s executive board, said the transaction supports the growing maturity of Serbia’s corporate bond market and offers flexible financing for midsize firms. Owner Janos Zsemberi highlighted that the funds will strengthen Sat‑Trakt’s technological and market position.
