Sat.1's 'Die Landarztpraxis' plans Season 5 and spin‑off for 2027

Sat.1 has not issued an official confirmation for a fifth season of the drama series “Die Landarztpraxis,” but industry sources indicate the continuation is being prepared for 2027. In the meantime, the network launched a spin‑off titled “Die Landarztpraxis – Team Sonnenhof,” which premiered on Monday 29 June 2026 at 19:00 on Sat.1. The new show shifts the setting to the fictional village of Weilhausen, follows the Lamminger siblings as they manage their inherited inn and medical practice, and retains several original characters such as Dr. Ella Wagner, Feli and Max. The spin‑off is slated for 120 episodes and features a cameo by singer Beatrice Egli.

Episodes of the original series continue to be available via Sat.1’s online livestream and the Joyn streaming platform. The latest fourth‑season episode aired on 27 June 2026, and fans can watch it on‑demand through the Sat.1 Mediathek.
