SATA Azores Airlines offers child fare and €79 flights to the Azores

SATA Azores Airlines, marking its 85th anniversary, launched a "Tarifa Criança" promotion on 1 August. The scheme lets a child up to 11 years old (or a baby up to 23 months) travel for free on any round‑trip flight between the Azores and mainland Portugal (Lisbon, Porto, Faro, and Funchal) when accompanied by a paying adult.

In parallel, the carrier and TAP are advertising round‑trip tickets from Lisbon to the islands of Pico, Santa Maria and Faial for as low as €79, inclusive of a cabin bag. The offers are available on specific days between October 2023 and February 2024, with additional dates in early 2024, and are aimed at boosting summer family travel to the archipelago.
