Satanic Planet releases ‘Antichrist’ single and horror short film

The musical group Satanic Planet has released the single ‘Antichrist’ alongside a fifteen-minute cult-horror short film. The track is part of their upcoming 11-track album, ‘Dead Deities’, scheduled for release on October 30 via Relapse Records.

The band features members Lucien Greaves, co-founder of The Satanic Temple; Dave Lombardo; Luke Henshaw; and Justin Pearson. According to Greaves, the album’s lyrical content serves as a protest against autocracy and Christian nationalism, aligning with the activist goals of The Satanic Temple to reject tyrannical authority and oppose injustice.

The music is described as a blend of doomy soundscapes, post-hardcore, and blackened synth. The accompanying music video depicts ritualistic events and characters traversing a forest.
