Satechi launches ExtendView USB4 Dual HDMI Multiport Adapter

Satechi has introduced the ExtendView USB4 Dual HDMI Multiport Adapter, a compact device designed to connect two external 4K monitors to a single host device via one cable. The adapter supports dual 4K resolution at 60Hz and does not require DisplayLink, drivers, or background applications to function.

Technical specifications include up to 140W pass-through charging via a USB-C Power Delivery port, along with two USB-A and two USB-C ports offering data speeds up to 10Gbps. The device is encased in anodized aluminum and features a built-in slot to store the USB-C connector when not in use.

Compatibility varies by hardware: the adapter supports dual extended displays on Apple M3, M4, M5, and M6 Macs, as well as most Windows USB4 devices. Base M1 and M2 Macs, along with iPadOS, are limited to a single extended display. The product is compatible with macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS.
