Satomi Ishihara stars in political heist drama ‘Political Pan’

The Fuji TV drama ‘Political Pan’, written by Akiko Nogi, follows a master thief named Yayoi Kisaragi, played by Satomi Ishihara, who infiltrates the political world to uncover opaque political funds.

In the upcoming third episode, Yayoi successfully helps Miyabi Kobayakawa, played by Yuumi Kawai, win an election and begins working as her private secretary. As Miyabi resists joining the Kokuji Party despite pressure from her father, Shiro Kobayakawa, other party officials task Masakado Natsume with finding the culprit behind stolen election funds. Meanwhile, Yayoi investigates the source of online defamation targeting Miyabi, leading to a confrontation involving her childhood friend and fellow thief, Rui.
