Satomi Ishihara stars in upcoming Fuji TV drama ‘Political Pan’

The Fuji TV drama ‘Political Pan’, starring Satomi Ishihara, is set to premiere on October 7. The series is written by Akiko Nogi, known for her work on ‘Unnatural’. The story follows Yayoi Kisaragi, a phantom thief who infiltrates the political world of the fictional nation ‘Nipponia’ to steal opaque political funds.

During a recent promotional event for Fuji TV’s October drama lineup, Ishihara shared insights into the production, noting her excitement regarding the script. She also revealed that she practices yoga with co-star Yuumi Kawai during breaks to refresh herself.

In anticipation of the premiere, promotional countdown videos have been released, including one featuring Issei Takahashi and JO1’s Takumi Kawanishi, who portray an uncle and nephew in the series.
