Saturday Night Live UK to return for second season in September

Sky has announced that the second season of ‘Saturday Night Live UK’ will premiere on Saturday, September 12. The live sketch comedy show, which broadcasts from London, will be available on Sky and the streaming service NOW.

The upcoming season will consist of six new episodes, with additional shows scheduled for early 2027. The format remains consistent with the original American institution, featuring a rotating weekly celebrity host, a musical guest, topical sketches, and a British version of the ‘Weekend Update’ segment.

All eleven members of the inaugural cast are returning for the new season, including Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young. A ticket ballot for the live studio audience is set to open on Friday, August 14.
