Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty win China Masters title

Indian badminton stars Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty won the China Masters Super 750 men's doubles title in Shenzhen on September 6, 2026. The pair secured their first title at this event after previously finishing as runners-up in 2023 and 2025.

In a three-game final lasting 70 minutes, the Indian duo staged a comeback against China's He Ji Ting and Ren Xiang Yu. After losing the first game 11-21, Rankireddy and Shetty won the subsequent games 21-13 and 21-17 to claim the championship.

This victory marks the pair's second title of the 2026 season and their 10th BWF World Tour win. The win is viewed as a significant confidence boost ahead of the upcoming Asian Games in Japan, where they will defend their gold medal.
