Satya and Yogi Babu to star in ‘Golden Bhagyam’

The makers of the upcoming comedy entertainer directed by Pawan Basamsetti have announced the title ‘Golden Bhagyam’. The film stars Satya and Yogi Babu and is being produced by Nagarjuna Reddy and Basamsetti under the banners of Dream Movie Makers and Nayavayu Chitralu.

Described as a ‘Telumil’ project, the film aims to bridge the Telugu and Tamil film industries by combining elements from both Tollywood and Kollywood. The title glimpse features a humorous debate between a Telugu man and a Tamil man regarding their respective cuisines before introducing the lead actors. The story is expected to blend love, crime, and action elements.

In a linguistic twist, Satya is seen speaking Tamil while Yogi Babu speaks Telugu. The supporting cast includes Jayashree, Athiraj, Vennela Kishore, Sudharshan, Kishore Tirumala, Rohini, Tanikella Bharani, and Sunil Reddy. While originally planned for a Sankranthi release, the film is now slated for release later this year.
