Sauce Pinto Solar Park completes first year of operation
The Sauce Pinto Solar Park has completed its first year of operation, producing 505.14 MWh of renewable energy. This output exceeds initial projections by 4.4 percent and is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 220 households in the Entre Ríos province.
Environmentally, the project has prevented the emission of roughly 219 tons of CO2, a benefit comparable to planting 300 trees or using 185 tons of standard coal. The facility was established through a public-private partnership involving the Dellizzotti family, who donated the land for the installation.
Uriel Brupbacher, president of Enersa, noted that the project marks a significant shift in the provincial energy matrix. Leandro Dellizzotti reported that the park has helped stabilize the local power supply, reducing outages and voltage fluctuations during high-demand summer periods. The site remains available for potential future expansion.
