Saucony and Westside Gunn renew creative partnership

Saucony and Grammy-nominated artist Westside Gunn, founder of Griselda Records, have renewed their creative partnership with the launch of the Saucony Grid Jazz 9 ‘Awesome God’. The sneaker is inspired by Gunn’s ‘Flygod Is An Awesome God’ musical trilogy.

The design features a premium multicolored faux fur upper paired with iridescent leather, ensuring that no two pairs are exactly alike. A signature embroidered scorpion, a symbol of Gunn’s creative identity, is featured on the heel. The collaboration also ties into the upcoming release of ‘Awesome God – Part 3’, portions of which were recorded at the Saucony Boston Innovation Hub.

The shoes are scheduled for a global release on August 28, 2026, via raffle through EQL, Westside Gunn’s website, and select retailers, with a retail price of €240.00. The launch date coincides with ‘Westside Gunn Day’ in Buffalo, New York.
