Saudi Arabia expands tourist visa to Kosovo and Guyana
Saudi Arabia has expanded its tourist visa program to include citizens of Kosovo and Guyana. Under this new policy, nationals from these two countries can apply for visas electronically or obtain them upon arrival at Saudi Arabian entry points, including land and air ports.
The visa allows travelers to engage in various activities, such as attending international exhibitions, conferences, and sporting events, as well as visiting friends and relatives. Additionally, holders may perform Umrah outside of the Hajj season.
This expansion is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to diversify national income by growing the tourism sector. The government seeks to attract 150 million visitors annually by 2030 and increase tourism's contribution to the GDP to 10%. To qualify, applicants must hold a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity.
