Saudi Arabia launches one-year multiple-entry Umrah visa

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a new multiple‑entry Umrah visa that is valid for 365 days from issuance. Pilgrims may enter the Kingdom several times during that period, with a cumulative stay limited to 90 days. The visa cannot be used during the annual Hajj season. To use the visa, travelers must purchase an approved service package through the Nusuk platform for each visit and obtain an Umrah permit via the same app before arrival. After each departure the visa is automatically deactivated and can be re‑activated once the required entry procedures are completed. The measure is part of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, aimed at improving digital services and flexibility for religious tourists. In 2026 the Kingdom has received 931,500 Umrah pilgrims, a 22.5% rise over the same period in 2025, with the largest numbers coming from Pakistan, Indonesia and Iraq.
