Ceer Motors unveils Exobot electric vehicles for Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has unveiled its first homegrown electric vehicle brand, Ceer Motors, with the debut of its Exobot sedan and SUV models. The project is a strategic initiative to diversify the Kingdom’s economy away from oil, backed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) in partnership with the Taiwanese technology giant Foxconn.
The Exobot models feature futuristic, wedge-shaped designs with large windshields and unique ‘Shahin Wing’ doors. High-performance specifications include a tri-motor setup capable of producing up to 1,111 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque, allowing the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 2.1 seconds. The vehicles are equipped with a 112-kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of up to 670 km for the sedan and 560 km for the SUV.
To address the regional climate, the vehicles include a ‘Halo Cooling’ system designed to rapidly reduce cabin temperatures in extreme heat. Production is scheduled to begin in early 2027, with initial deliveries expected by March of that year.
