Saudi Arabia leads global date exports in value for fourth consecutive year

Saudi Arabia has ranked first globally in the value of date exports for the fourth consecutive year, according to data from the World Trade Organization. In 2025, the value of these exports reached 1.938 billion riyals.

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mousa, CEO of the National Center for Palms and Dates, stated that this achievement is a result of government support and integrated efforts between the public and private sectors to develop supply chains and enhance export efficiency. The growth aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to increase the agricultural sector's contribution to the national GDP.

Saudi Arabia currently exports dates to more than 125 countries. The nation's total date production has exceeded 1.9 million tons, supported by a population of over 37 million palm trees across various regions.
