Saudi Arabia marks 12th anniversary of King Salman's accession

September 14, 2026, marks the 12th anniversary of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud ascending to the throne of Saudi Arabia. The milestone highlights a period of significant national transformation and development.

Under the framework of Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom has focused on diversifying its economy to reduce oil dependency. In 2025, the real Saudi economy grew by approximately 4.5% to 4.6%, with non-oil activities recording a growth rate of 4.9%. Non-oil exports of goods and services exceeded 623 billion riyals.
