Saudi Arabia sees thunderstorms and strong winds across Jazan, Asir and Riyadh regions

The Saudi National Center for Meteorology forecasts thunderstorms with moderate‑to‑heavy rain in parts of Jazan and Asir, raising the risk of flash floods and brief hail. Strong, dust‑raising winds are expected to affect Riyadh, Najran and the coastal road to Jazan, potentially reducing visibility.

The Eastern Province may experience higher maximum temperatures and isolated thunderstorms, with possible fog along the coastal area. Sea conditions will include moderate to strong winds on the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf, producing wave heights up to two metres in the south‑south‑west sectors.
