Saudi Arabia's national football team beat Puerto Rico 3‑0 in a friendly match in Austin, United States, as part of its preparation for the 2026 World Cup. The game was briefly halted after 21 minutes due to severe weather warnings before resuming about two hours later. Goals were scored by Sultan Mndsh, Abdullah Al‑Hamad and captain Salem Al‑Dosri.
