Saudi Arabian Football Federation achieves top Asian talent development ranking

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has achieved the highest Asian ranking in the talent development pathway. This advancement follows a transition from the second tier to the top tier after a comprehensive evaluation by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

The assessment covered several key areas, including technical management, youth category competitions, coach development programs, private academies, regional training centers, and talent discovery initiatives. An AFC delegation conducted an evaluative visit in June to review various projects and supporting documentation related to youth development.

Majed bin Ali Al Sahib, Secretary General of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, stated that this ranking reflects continuous efforts over recent years to improve youth systems, competitions, and academy expansion. He credited the work of the previous board of directors and staff for contributing to this achievement.
