Saudi Arabian Football Federation approves final election candidate list

The election committee for the Saudi Arabian Football Federation has approved the final list of candidates for the presidency and membership of the board of directors for its sixth term (2026–2030).

The decision follows the completion of several procedural stages, including the review of appeals and grievances submitted to the Saudi Arabian Sports Arbitration Center between August 9 and August 13. Following these rulings, the committee monitored a designated period for candidate withdrawals, which concluded on August 25 without any requests being received.

An extraordinary general assembly meeting of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation is scheduled to take place in Riyadh on Sunday, August 30.
